1920s Besway Metamorphic Tea Trolley

This is a fully refurbished, solid wood, Besway Metamorphic tea trolley. Patent no. 276140 from the 1920s Converts from a 2 tiered trolley to a table. This is easily done; simply by pulling on the decorative handle on the bottom shelf, then it rotates so that both shelves meet to become the table top.

Painted in Fusion Mineral Paint 'Ash' with copper highlights. The tops of each tier have been stripped and resealed. The mechanism has had a full clean and works smoothly.

This is a refurbished vintage item that has had a busy previous life and it may have minor imperfections relative to it's age. As it has been lovingly restored and refinished by hand you should expect a high-quality craftsman's finish rather than a machine/factory finish. We have given it lots of love and attention and it's now ready for a new home.
