Navy Painted Vintage Oak Bureau

A beautifully restored vintage oak bureau. Painted to allow the original wood grain patterns to show through with a custom mixed navy enamel paint, with a contrasting pale green to the inside.

The very pretty original handles have been polished and refitted and the solid oak legs have been stripped, restained and french polished for an elegant finish.

The internal compartments have also had a little reworking in order to create a bit more depth to the workable desk space
